Galaxy Z Fold8

This phone is a revelation, perfect size for one or two hand operation. Fabulous display wider than a normal handheld which in my view gives your eyes more to see and easier to operate. Coming from a z fold 7 this phone as come on leaps and bounds, longer battery time, brilliant display and a very responsive operating system in the Android 17 with UI 9. Stunning build quality with a far better hinge. This phone is a keeper for me and I am confident it's durability will last for all of the updates. Outstanding specs, and without doubt Samsung's best phone yet. They will sell millions of these no problem.

I purchased this phone last week and replaced it with the S26 Ultra. I have to say it's the best device I've had, along with the Flip 7. The screen is just amazing, and the build quality is second to none. Well done, Samsung, for bringing out this device. I'm so attached to it that I've fallen out with my missus because she also wants this device. I super highly recommend the Fold 8, period. It makes traditional phones look boring. 10/10

I love the new size of phone both screens are a great size and it is easy to carry around in pockets and bags. I wasn't sure I would like this phone when I pre-ordered, my doubts were gone in the first hour it is so much fun, the camera is great and using it open makes it a lot better, battery lasts a long time, I love the finger print reader is on the side and not on the screen. If you are on the fence try it, you won't regret it. The hinges are great and no visible line on the screen when open. The speed is great and it is not as fragile as you think so I think it will last before I need to upgrade.

So far figuring it out has been a slight struggle as its not the normal sort of phone im used to but overall im loving it the display works perfectly and is high-quality the battery is very good the hinge is smooth to transition from closed and open and it responds quickly, few bits of delay but very rare it happens the durability seems very good but with it being a new phone and very expensive I've been carrying it around like a bar of gold

I have enjoyed the experience so far, I have experienced problems with the device in the unfolded position where the screen on a number of occasions has gone black then returned to the unlock screen

So good to hold really comfortable and internals are great Snapdragon chip works really well doesn't overheat and battery lasts all day easily

The display is epic, I love the smaller one and the larger one, they both have very different use cases.

This is my first time with a foldable phone, and I would have to say this device was the one to convince me to make the switch to Samsung. The battery life is better than any device I ever had despite it being so thin. You can use this device folded 24/7 and forget that it can unfold to have an even bigger display! An amazing product for those who enjoy multitasking and watching content on a big and small screen.

Great phone just alot to get use to coming from a flip

Where do i start? The fold 8 is the perfect little machine. Fits great in jeans pockets and the right size to do everything on the go right on the cover screen. Fold 8 open 😜 and its like a kindle size device. Super comfortable to hold, genuinely the perfect size for other tasks that require more attention. The display quality is fantastic So far. The battery life is great. I've had it 4 days now and only charged it twice. I can't comment on durabilty just yet as ive not had it long enough but It eems solid. Its a fast a very responsive little unit and feels very rugged at the hinge compared to other folds/flips i have had

Having held onto my S23 Ultra for the last 3 years, I was very tempted by the Z Fold 8 Ultra! However, in the end I opted for the Z Fold 8 because the form factor felt different. I am obsessed with how good this phone is to use just with the external screen and use that easily 80% but possibly 90% of the time. The battery is currently lasting me 2 days which is outstanding for such a small form factor. The foldable screen once opened is then truly something special. The phone is brilliantly responsive between screens and feels seamless. The camera is really only average when trying to zoom, but for normal photos of subjects nearby is perfectly acceptable.

The phone itself is great love being able to change screens when using it and display is very good the fold hinge is very secure and can't see a crease in the screen the battery is ok don't last as long as my flip 6 did overall the phone is very responsive and smooth to use and haven't found using my apps any different And just don't by the case cover from Samsung on brand as it only covers the back of the phone and comes with front screen protection but no cover I have already dropped it and the durability of the metal phone cover is good so Samsung if your really listening can the Samsung galaxy z fold 8 case cover come with a front cover too please for full phone protection 4 stars as phone cover is rubbish for price

I have had multiple foldables from Honor over the last few years and this year I traded in my Honor Magic V5 for the Z Fold 8. And I am so glad I did. The form factor is far better, it's lighter, the display is epic, the crease is nearly non-existent, the battery is superb and holding the device in the hand is great. It's easily pocketable and is very snappy to use, very responsive and so far, I cannot say enough great things about it. I had questions about the camera but for standard photography, I really can't complain. I don't use a zoom lens so I don't miss the added camera in the Fold 8 Ultra. Superb all round device!

I love the phone, the size of the phone, I have had the z fold from the 1st gen to the z fold 7 but changing to the z fold 8 it's a game changer, thank you Samsung for this. The battery is very impressive last me whole day with heavy use and the display is nice and crisp, i love the durability it's got tough glass, I also love the titanium hinge that shows less crease, and the software and top it's a very responsive phone

Battery life is something I was worried about when I qas about to buy fold 8, but oh man, I got 10 hours of SOT with 90% battery usage, which is something that I never got from my S25 Ultra. And the brightness of the inner screen is soo good, the bad part about that is also the good part, which is that we can't apply screen protectors to the internal screen, which is better in a way, as naked screens are much better to look at and brighter. Just need to be careful, thats all. Hinge is okay at the moment, no real issues. Need to drive more time to see any problems, hopefully not. No problems with reaponsiveness so far, its quick as bullet. The durability is not concerning at all. The phone feels sturdy and confident to use with one hand. Just lacked telephoto. Rest everything's so good so far. Imax movies are sweet to watch. I almost stopped using my tablet to watch movies. Overall, waited 8 years to buy a perfect fold for me. 🙂🤟💯

My first foldable phone, and the battery life was one of my main concerns before receiving it. However, it has been surprisingly good and lasts just as long as a traditional flagship phone. The form factor is unique and exciting, and the larger inner display is fantastic for consuming content, especially older content in a 4:3 aspect ratio. I’m also a big reader, particularly of comic books, and honestly, the larger screen alone makes this phone worth it for me. It’s also much more stable and comfortable to use when unfolded than I expected, with the hinge making the phone feel surprisingly sturdy and durable. Overall a great phone if your looking to consume alot of media on the go without the need for multiple devices.

It is a truly remarkable phone, thin and with a very useful foldable large screen. But, it is still lacking a few essential things, as it doesn't have magnetic wireless charging capability despite the fact it doesn't have a pen like the Ultra that apparently is the cause for not introducing this feature in the first place, it is not coming with a a screen protector for the external display as it used to, no ultra fast charger in the box as the old chargers are not ultra fast charging but barely 10-15 W, the battery doesn't last more than the previous models or any S models. Overall it is not worth the full price but if you can get a good discount then it is a good purchase.

I really like the hinge new design on fold 8. The Brighter screen also helps with under the sun. Battery seem to the same as the fold 7. Durable is similar to fold 7 too. There is a lot of bugs in UI now, so need better update to make the experience better

I’ve been using the Samsung Z Fold 8 for 3 days now, and it’s honestly really convenient. Folded up, it fits in my pocket just like a normal phone. But when you open it, the big screen is a game changer. The crease? You can see it if you look for it, but day to day it’s barely noticeable.

Had the z fold 8 for a week. Great machine. Amazing design. Probably the best fold to get right now, but very expensive. Not exactly a value machine.

I have this phone for few days. It is amazing, great shape and large inner screen. Only if it had a telephoto camera it would be the perfect phone

Very impressed with my new phone, you don't notice the fold crease unless you really look for it. Having the larger screen inside is brilliant for pictures, videos and productivity. The outside screen is handy for everyday quick use on the go. The battery life appears to be excellent with charging limits ranging from 80% to 95% to extend battery life rather than the only 80% on my previous phone. Build quality overall is excellent so I feel confident it will be great for many year's to come. Overall very impressed and happy with my purchase.

I'm loving the form factor, battery lasts all day the the screen size is perfect. It's lighter than many slab phones. The only downside is you need to large hands when folded up to try to text one-handed.

Amazing! I have had it for a week and love the shape and design. It's the perfect size and makes a lot of sense.

My first fold. Unbelievable device. New form factory takes some getting used to but now when I look at a slab phone, it feels unnatural. New silicon carbon battery is a great upgrade, with all day battery life. Displays are sharp with more than enough brightness. Feels durable in the hand but would definitely recommend a front and back case of some sort. The new hinge feels sturdy and forces itself open after a certain point. The new chip make the phone extremely responsive and handles any tasks with ease. If you're tempted, just get one, you'll only regret not getting it sooner!

Honestly, first every fold device I owned and after 8 generations of updates, Samsung did make something that makes me want to switch from a traditional slab phone

I am blown away by this phone so far. For years I've said the trend of huge phones that just get taller is frustrating. They're uncomfortable and impractical. This is the perfect form factor - so easy to hold, and the large folded out screen is amazing. Most importantly, it's a true joy to use folded as well because the screen is a perfect size. Feels great in the pocket too. So far the hinge has only creased a little so I just hope it's durable over time. If so, it's perfect. Not gone below 50% battery with moderate use on both screens, including games. Samsung, kudos. This is a game changer!

I'm loving this new phone, the display is great on the front screen and really comes to life when you unfold it, the hinge/fold in the main screen is totally unnoticeable. The size of the phone i thought maybe too wide, but I was mistaken it fits great in my pockets and feels good in the hand. The battery seems great too as I've had this since Monday (now Thursday night) and have been constantly using it and setting it all up etc. I have only charged it twice. It feels very well made, responsive and only time will tell if it's durability will be enough. But so far 5 Stars from me 😍

Such a great form factor, amazing battery life and very minimal crease compqred to my last folding phone the fold 2 almost 6 years ago now! The displays are fluid and very responsive and the small hings makes it very thin in the hands. After owning samsung flagship phones for the past 14 years i can hapily say this is my favourite.

Only have the fold 8 a few days but its really good. Display and responsiveness are spot on. The battery life is excellent. Time will tell re, durability

Am amazed by this device it is perfect for me, as someone who had the fold a couple of years ago and loved the ideas of a folding phone, i just could not get on with the size of the device struggling to fit it into my pocket so had to move to the flip 7. The the passport size came along, yes a little larger than the flip 7, but omg the size is just perfect, the display is great and bright, battery is night and day to my old flip 7 and the hinge just feels more premium and it fis in my pocket. It's the perfect middle ground and know am going to continue to love this phone.

I love it to bits perfect, when its open its the perfect form factor. However its perfect WITHOUT a case and i dont want to leave an expensive phone unprotected. But with a case where i try to find a light, minimal yet protective case its becomes heavy and a little chunky and hard to use one handed. But other than that its perfect for me. Battery is stunning!! It will also get even better once it learns your pattens!

Had a fold a few years back and whilst i loved it the opened up screen was a weird shape, this new shape is just like the old Blackberry size which is perfect for 2 handed typing, and as of yet had no issues 1 handed typing, when open its just like the size of an ipad mini which just works so well.

This device offers an optimal screen ratio for media consumption, particularly for video viewing, with an enhanced experience on the external display for routine tasks. In my assessment, this represents the most aesthetically pleasing and functionally effective foldable phone design I have encountered.

The smaller display of the front screen is a refreshing change in terms of how it fits in my hand when using it with one hand and the responsiveness of app continuity is great when changing between the two screens which is also helped by the snappy feel of the new hinge. I was at first cautious when using the inside larger screen due to older folding screens feeling delicate but the durability has been massively improved. The battery life of the phone is very comparable if not better than my previous phone, the iphone 16 plus which i got the larger size for the battery, so i dont have to be worried about using the new phone for productivity and media streaming all day and still have charge left until i go to sleep.
